The blade is hand forged with over 288 to 350 layers of 1095 and 15N20 high damascus tool steels, including a Nickel layer, and has undergone excellent heat treatment to achieve a 52 to 55 HRC. This knife is versatile and can be used for hunting, fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities. It has a great design, is well-made, and of 100% genuine quality. The knives feature outstanding file work and many important features, with excellent edges and sharpness on the blades that will be appreciated. The knife comes with a leather sheath that has a very large connected belt loop, allowing for a 3-inch broad belt to easily fit through with room to spare. The sheath is substantially larger than the knife, which is larger than most blades. It is not recommended to store our Damascus steel knives in their original cow leather cover for an extended period of time. After using the Damascus knives, apply white oil or wax to the blades.
