The katana is well assembled with saya and comes with a free silk bag. Please note that the box and stand are not included.

Lyuesword uses only traditional methods for Japanese sword making. Each blade is individually hand forged, heat treated, tempered, and polished by skilled hands, creating a true battle-ready and perfect sword that is studied not only for its elegant design.

Blade (Nagasa): This katana is Drama Walking Dead and is fully handmade by a professional smith, including hand forging, polishing, and sharpening using the traditional Japanese craftsmanship way. The blade is made of 1095 high carbon steel with a Maru structure and Chu-Kissaki. It is a full tang blade, which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. The blade is strong enough to cut a thick bamboo tree and sharp enough to slice paper. There is no Bo-hi (groove) added on both sides of the blade.

Tsuba (guard): The tsuba (guard) of the sword is made of zinc alloy with two Seppas as spacers securing it. The Habaki (blade collar) is of brass composition.

Saya (Scabbard): The saya is made of high-quality hard wood with a leather belt.

Tsuka (Handle): The wooden tsuka is wrapped with genuine ray skin and tied with real silk Ito in the katatemaki wrap. The Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) on the tsuka are made of Zinc alloy with matching Menuki on each side as an ornament. Two Mekugi (pegs) are nailed to secure the Tang of the sword. The sword can be disassembled by picking up the two Mekugi (pegs).
